Add ReviewUnfortunately I am leaving this review to share a disappointing experience with the JK Subaru service department. I dropped off my 2019 Outback for service on Wednesday 4/16. My front driver’s side window motor was broken, so it had to be replaced. On Thursday I received a text asking for a review of my recent service, to which I replied explaining my car was still being worked on. Then on Friday I sent a text asking for an update with no response. I figured with Easter weekend they might not have been open so that was fine. I called on Monday (4/21) and was told it was ready. Upon arriving to pick up my vehicle, and AFTER already paying, I was informed that the service technician had left early and locked my car’s keys in his toolbox. They had no way of getting my keys which was entirely irresponsible and unprofessional. Thankfully, the customer service ladies who helped me that day were very kind and gave me a loaner car free of charge until they could unlock my keys the following day. While I appreciated that, this was still extremely frustrating and inconvenient considering the amount of times I’d have to drive back and forth with my baby and move his car seat back and forth as well. When I picked up my car the following day I thought these issues could be put in the past, but unfortunately after two days my window isn’t working again. Whoever replaced the motor did a terrible job and didn't check to ensure everything was connected property because now it goes up and down on its own free will…. It would be funny if it wasn’t a waste of $500+ and multiple trips back and forth to Nederland. Needless to say, I will never be returning to this dealership for service or car sales, and I’ll be sure to steer everyone I know away from it as well. Very unprofessional and poorly trained mechanics who clearly don’t care about the vehicles or the owners. Only reason I’m leaving 2 stars and not 1 is because of how nice and helpful the customer service ladies were the first time I had an issue.Report

UPDATE: After reaching out to the Subaru leadership team, this issue has been resolved with the great customer service that we all expect from Subaru. I really appreciate Carleen in the service department taking my concerns, helping to come to a resolution, and ensuring there's a process in place to avoid this issue with future customers.Report
I always hate to write a negative review, especially when I have had nothing but good experiences in the past, but I am truly upset about a recent experience with the Subaru service department. When I purchased my 2022 Crosstrek I added the 36 month maintenance plan with it. I scheduled my 36 month service last week and after reviewing my invoice noticed I was charged for my oil change which should have been my last covered service under my prepaid maintenance plan. When I questioned this charge I was told my maintenance plan expired 10 days before my service appointment. I was never notified of a specific expiration date and I discussed my covered services at my 30 month service appointment. Again, no mention at all of a specific date I needed to use this service by but rather a general reminder of my 36 month service. A service advisor told me this information was listed under an obscure section of the app but it was not included in my service reminder email listing what services I had left remaining. I am extremely frustrated I was not notified of the specific expiration date and can't help but wonder if it was intentional as to collect money from me. This was NOT the Subaru Cares experience I am used to and it has left a very bad impression. I am extremely disappointed in the otherwise great service department.
I have bought several vehicles over the years and my experience with JK Subaru has been one of the Best. From my salesman, Aldo, the manager and the finance dept. The whole staff is wonderful! They are more than fair and will work with you. I love my Subaru, I highly recommend if your looking for a vehicle to check them out.Report

This dealership is absolutely wonderful. The staff go beyond their duties to accommodate your buying experience. I contacted them they replied immediately and sent all the information I requested within minutes. There was no pressure to buy and they were available to answer questions the day I bought the car before they even opened. I came out of state. Upon arrival the car was ready , clean like it just came off the showroom floor. I bought a Mercedes GLK and it is a beautiful car and I've had no problems. They had the maintenance scheduled service done and when the next one is due its on them. They even offered to fill up my gas tank for my drive back home. This dealership is immaculate and you can see they take much pride in the atmosphere and the vehicles they sell. Highly recommend to look at their inventory and give them a call if your shopping for a new or used vehicle. Thank you so much for making this experience the best car buying one I've had in 30 years.Report
