Island Pools

Run, don't walk, away from Grant Johnson and Island Pools! Hired to re-plaster my pool. Result is splotchy coloring of plaster, visible footprints of his workers in the plaster, as well as distinct stripes/trowel lines in differing colors, and the surface is very rough and pitted. The underwater light cavities were over- and underfilled with the new plaster and now one light is sunken too far into its spot while the other hangs out awkwardly. (Not to mention I had to hire someone else to get the lights working again after Johnson and crew were done, and to repair a pool equipment pipe he sawed in half attempting to locate a leak that occurred after their work, which I eventually paid someone else to repair, and I had to replace two patio rugs that his crew tore up.) Gave him months to remedy; he made lots of promises, took no action. Filed suit and he's been dodging service for almost two years.
