Iron River Construction

Randy and the crew at Iron River were great to work with. Even when problems out of their control popped up they helped me with options on how to fix it.
Definitely will call for future projects.

We couldn't have more great things to say about Iron River. We had a pipe burst this year which caused a huge mess in our basement. Jeremy was our project manager and he came out right away and assessed our damages. Before we even had time to think about what next steps would look like, Jeremy had already talked to our insurance company and had our estimate approved and gave us a start date! Dan and Evan came out to do the repairs. They were very protective of what remained in the basement and kept everything immaculately clean during the project. They were always punctual and powered through the job quickly. You can't tell anything ever happened down there and we are back to enjoying our basement again, just in time for the holidays! Thank you Jeremy, Dan, Evan and the whole Iron River Team!

I don't write many reviews, but when I do it's because I feel compelled to spread the word about a great local company. I hired Iron River to finish my basement recently and could not be happier with the results. These guys are awesome and they deliver on their promises. Alex is awesome and is frankly why we hired Iron River. We received multiple bids, all of which were pretty comparable from a price perspective, however when I asked Alex about how long the project would take and how likely it would be to finish on time, his response surprised me. He told me that he could have it done in 7 weeks and that the project wouldn't run long by more than a day or two because he has such a good team around him. Honestly, I wouldn't have believed most people if they told me that but Alex was certain and had great reasons why he could stick to that timeline so it was a no brainer. I'm happy to say that the project just wrapped up last week and it was right on time. 7 weeks to finish a basement!? Seriously, and I'm very pleased with the quality of the craftsmanship, the guys did an incredible job. If you're reading this and wondering if I received some sort of incentive to write this review, I didn't. I just really appreciate Alex and team and the great work they did for us. Would hire again in a heartbeat.

Randy of Iron River Construction was the best contractor we have ever worked with. He was very knowledgeable and able to communicate the best plan for our new deck. He was very patient with us dealing with all the HOA guidelines and through his persistence was able to get our deck done before the end of the construction season. Very professional crew made it very easy to work with. Finished product was excellent and looking forward to many years enjoying our new deck.

Great working with you!

Rick and team demo'd our existing deck and turned it into a 4 season porch. I was continually impressed with the professionalism and quality we got from every member of the team. We had very few issues and those that we did have were managed with transparency and urgency. There we many that helped our project come together but in particular Andy, Hayden, and Josh played huge parts in making this thing come together for us. We HIGHLY recommend Iron River and will use them again any projects in our future.

Randy and the Iron River team did a great job on our deck. Very professional, gave some great insights and recommendations, and the company did fantastic work. Really happy with the project and will use them again.

Normally I’m not much of a review writer, but in this case I am. If you are looking for a deck builder, look no further than Iron River. Most contractors will tell you how good they are, but fail to deliver. Iron River is quite different. We called them to look at our old deck to plan and estimate a new one. Randy showed up and went through all of the possibilities. It didn’t take very long to figure out that he knows what he’s doing and it also didn’t take very long to see that he is a prince of a guy. They built us a magnificent, beautiful deck. Randy said that it will last for 30 years, but I think it will be more like 100. It is built like a fortress underneath. The guys are all master craftsmen and very friendly. Afterwards, we had a little problem with one of the boards being a bit off, but that was no problem for them. They gladly and cheerfully returned and fixed it to perfection. I know that it is so hard to hire people, but you won’t have any worries whatsoever with Iron River. I would recommend them to anyone. Job well done. Thank you so much.

Thanks for the kind words, the deck turned out great!

We first contacted Iron River to build a built in buffet/cabinet in our dining room - and also to install permanent railing on our deck. Then we had some laundry room water damage and ended up contacting them again - to rebuild our laundry room and replace carpeting where it was needed. Alex is very responsive and easy to talk to and ask questions.

Jeremy was very good at listening to what we wanted and was very specific about delays that would occur because of supply chain issues. When Jeremy said they were going to start the project on the next Monday morning, he and his crew were at our home at 8am, ready to go. The workmanship was excellent and timely and they did a great job of cleaning up each day. Hayden did some one off construction of a planter and a bench that we wanted to incorporate into the new deck. He was very specific in his development of the two items and they turned out looking very professionally done and will be a great addition to our new deck. All in all, it was a pleasure to work with Iron River Construction. We have referred them to a neighbor who is considering a new deck.

Our Timber Tech Deck and Railings were installed within the time Iron River estimated for the project. The agreed upon price was not exceeded. Iron River personnel always would give us the time to explain when we had questions.
I am well satisfied with their service on this project, as well as a roof replacement project Iron River completed for us a couple of years ago.
