I applied for a quote for International Insurance.
I was contacted by Cigna Global but was told I was disqualified because I have a pre-existing condition, multiple sclerosis. There is no treatment so there is no risk for the insurance company. They just have a blanket policy out of ignorance.

International Citizens Insurance contacted me right away to apologize and let me know that Cigna is just one company they represent. They are working to find another company that with accommodate my needs. They have been very responsive.

Cigna on the other hand gets zero stars.

Hi Bill. Sorry to hear about the decision made by one of the insurance companies we sent you quotes for. We, International Citizens insurance, are brokers so don't make the decision on approval or denial of coverage. I see that Molly sent you an email asking to set up a time to discuss options with our sales team. We do have other policies that might work for your situation. I would be happy to arrange a follow up call to discuss other options.

Had an amazing response time from when I first requested a quote. Andrew was very good about answering any questions I had and following up. Would recommend.

We were very confused about insurance options for our move to France and what would meet the requirements for the long-stay visa. Drew Hunsberger was great at providing options and explaining the different plans. We never felt pressure to choose something more expensive than we can afford. Then he walked through all the application steps and we we signed up within half an hour. Excellent service!

Had an outstanding experience with Drew and the team at International Citizens Insurance! My daughter needed quick coverage after being accepted for a international MBA program, and Drew was really great to work with -- very responsive, helpful and found excellent coverage at a great rate. I was in the health care business, and my husband is a physician, and we were both impressed. Honestly they made it so easy. I recommend them highly.
