Everything was good until the end. I called concierge to pick up my bags and bring them to my car outside. I previously called valet to pull my car around. We check out and leave but our bags were not in the car and we didn't realize until we were in DE. Had to turn around and go back. I was furious. I threw $20 tips around like tic tacs all weekend and they dropped the ball at the end. Extended my driving time by about 4 hours in the end.Report

My first trip to D.C and we double check hotel around White House. And I choose this hotelReport
Everything is very good room are clean and pretty serviced are 10 star? and location are the best
Good hotel good service good location good nothing else can ask for more
This Hotel is the epitome of the 5-star experience. It's refined, polished atmosphere exudes class and classic charm. Definitely worth splurging for a room with a view!Report
The rooms are well-appointed, clean, and comfortable. The beds are like clouds. The linens are soft and clean. The room had a Nespresso espresso maker instead of a traditional coffee maker, which was an excellent touch.
The bathroom was clean, fresh, and stocked with quality toiletries. It's clear the housekeeping staff is attentive to details.
The property itself is emaculate. Walking in the lobby (the name sake of the title "Lobbyist" as it's proximity to the White House and Capitol Hill made it a popular meeting place for lawmakers and private parties) is breathtaking. Peacock Alley is also spectacular and a wonderful place for High Tea.
I can't say enough about the demeanor and attitude of the staff. They were all willing to go above and beyond any chance they got.
Overall a wonderful experience deserving of more than five stars!

Exquisite hotel, excellent service and an even better location. We were there for a wedding, and I would recommend this hotel without reservation. The staff could not have been more helpful and each room we were in from the Welcome Party ball room, the Willard room for the ceremony and the Ball room downstairs were stunning. You will not be disappointed, weReport
enjoyed the entire experience. Special kudos to the consignee who had tickets available to the African American museum. It is a museum worth seeing and hard to get a time slot for entry.
Thank you to the entire staff.
Nice rooms, great lobby, friendly staff.Report
Pretty hotel in great location, but improvements are needed.Report
Beautiful public space interiors.
However…
Staff need better training.
Rooms seem impressive but are somewhat dated with old fixtures and fittings (see photos) - refurbishment and improvements are required.
Room telephones not all working, TV remotes faulty, minibar glasses not being refreshed and other small annoyances all leave you with a feeling that things could be improved.
Food and drink are excessively priced, even for a high-end property.
