InterContinental New Orleans

The InterContinental was a wonderful experience. Staff was so friendly. The man at the consieair desk was wonderful !!! Will make it my place to stay always.

I got stuck in New Orleans for a day after breaking an axel and losing a wheel at 80mph. I wound up spending the night here and was thoroughly impressed. Staff was friendly, rooms were fantastic, and its right IN the French Quarter, which was very nice for sightseeing.

Hotel has a great location, central to everything you want to do or visit. Just a short walk to great restaurants, bars, shopping and the casino. Hotel staff I found is starting to lack finesse. I find the check in line takes a lot longer so be prepared to wait. Same with checking out. Concierge was the only one extremely helpful, but also had to wait in line to see him. Room was OK but not we reserved(had a king bed instead for two queens). Found the pillows to be flat, not comfortable. Food at hotel restaurant is excellent(Trenause), bar is very nice.

Is this the best hotel in New Orleans, I certainly think so & as is with premier brands it had all that we expected. That said shout out to Anita for helping us with couple of needs that came up , she was great. Also Carlos in lost & found saved the day for us by finding things we didn't even know we had lost. Lol. Had a great stay overall

Take a shower with noises of the Plumming .
Room outdated darkness
The breakfast is horable they feed you as they want no selection
