About Instant Signs

In 1993 Mike Schaub and Danny Nordin worked for a large tire distributor based in Lexington, KY. These two young men produced banners, signs and vehicle graphics for tire dealers all over the country. In 1995, Mike and Danny and a group of others established Hands On Originals, a company producing screen printed t-shirts and custom signs.

In January 1997, Mike and Danny left Hands On Originals and opened their own full service sign company in the Woodhill Shopping Center in Lexington, KY. It was called “Sign Express”. Two years later, they acquired their largest competitor Instant Signs, on Nicholasville Road, Lexington's oldest sign shop of it's type. After moving that shop to the Zandale Shopping Center, they eventually settled into their current location on South Broadway.

Today, Mike and Danny continue to operate both of their Woodhill and South Broadway sign shops. They are proud to produce many of the signs, graphics and promotional products and promotional items you've seen all over Lexington and the surrounding counties.
