Sedation dentistry at our Gig Harbor location involves either the use of an oral sedative or IV Sedation, so you can undergo one or several procedures in an anxiety-free environment. Although you will not be completely asleep for treatment with oral sedation, you will be largely unaware of the procedures being performed. When treatment is over, you will have little to no recollection of the events that transpired during your visit. During IV sedation, also known as sleep dentistry, you will be asleep during the procedure and will wake up when the treatment is over.
