Alexander is a very prompt and helpful advisor. He made sure all my vehicle needs were met within a timely fashion so I could get back to work on time, told me about all of the deals and possible advantages that could be offered through Hurd, assisted with my warranty provider and gave me the upmost respect and positive attitude!
I had a terrible experience at HURD in Johnston,RI. The vehicle was in transit and there was an estimated delivery date for the first or second week of December. Amandarose, my salesperson, called to say it would be within five days which would make the delivery date on or around December 1. She then called to say that it was delayed, which I was very understanding of. She then called to say there was no estimated delivery date, but that she would need my trade in ASAP and they would give me a loaner. This made me uneasy and I started doing some digging. It turned out, four days prior, somebody from HURD called my insurance company, canceled the insurance on my car, and put it on the new Traverse which was still in Michigan with no delivery date. Without my knowledge, I was driving around my car with no insurance for four days. When I contacted HURD about this, Dave the manager and AmandaRose both claimed they had no idea who changed the insurance. I will never do business with HURD ever again.
Purchased a brand new vehicle that had a scratched interior panel. They ordered a new one to replace it and then called to make a service appointment for installation. Drove down from out of state on the scheduled time to find out that they had closed the service department for covid but never bothered to cancel my appointment. No apologies, nothing for my wasted time and gas. Person I spoke sales was incredibly rude and unhelpful and refused to connect me with a manager. Bad bad bad.
Will never recommend this place to anyone. Bought a car from them and cannot get ahold of anyone to get it serviced. Have cancelled my appts 3 times and will give me no answer as to why and/or let me know why I can't get in. Worst communication I've ever experienced, the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Was so excited over my first car purchase and this place has ruined it and all my excitement over this car.
The WORST dealership I have ever dealt with in my entire life. My service van has been there for over 3 months. They do not answer the phone, we call atleast 5 times a week with little to no avail. The only time you will be able to get ahold of anyone is to go in person and wait in a 30+ minute line of people while 4/5 of the service desk are empty. The service manager purposefully avoids phone calls (tested this with different phones). I could go on and on, just avoid like the PLAGUE!
