Nissan servicing is easy when you entrust your car to us. We have a fully equipped, modern service and repair center, staffed by expert technicians. Do you like to work on your car yourself? No problem! Our parts shop will be delighted to source the genuine Nissan parts you need to get the job done right.
Experience with Hummel's Nissan has always been good. However, this past summer, Hummel's decided to close their Express service on Wednesday's. As an owner of Nissan for multiple years now, it became more difficult to quickly get in and out in a timely manner. I can now drive from Des Moines to the Nissan in Ames, get an oil change, and drive back to Des Moines faster than Hummel's can take care of my car. This past visit, I was quoted a little over an hour wait. An hour seems very reasonable. However, today I waited almost two hours for an oil change and tire rotation. On top of the long wait, the prices at Hummel's have increased exponentially. I can go to a local, non-dealer shop and get synthetic oil and a tire rotation for $75 with tax. Today, I paid $100.16 for the two. If the service was faster, I would consider staying with Hummel's despite the higher costs. The combination of the two makes me very frustrated. Consider today my last visit to Hummel's.

I was surprised I was in and out in under an hour on a Monday morning for an Express Service. Also had a humming sound and they figured it out in less than a minute.

James did a fabulous job helping with the delays on the pathfinder's and keeping us updated. Austin also was very pleasant and welcoming during finance.
