Add ReviewThe hotel wasn't that great for the price of it. To start they do charge a faily parking fee. Their garage really isn't that big and some cars were stacked to where you couldn't get out if you had too, this was not all the time bit could happen.Report
The room I had was nice but the coworkers rooms were kind of just o.k., again same price, kinda high.
There is a nite life, restaurants and such right out your door but it's a tourist town so very expensive if your on a budget. Which leads to a complaint, at least for me.
When asked at check-in if there was coffee we were told you can make it in your room. Thats 2 packets.
For the price you pay no amenities, coffee or breakfast and only 2 places i found one 3 blocks away i wasn't pleased. We moved to another hotel after 2 days.Re: The hotel wasn't that gre ... Hotel Indigo Old Town Alexandria replied on Wednesday, December 22nd 2021We're sorry we missed the mark on your team's visit. We're happy to replenish amenities such as coffee as frequently as needed and should have more clearly explained that. Glad to hear there werent any challenges with our garage, our colleagues are on site to assist whenever needed!
Had an excellent stay for our Christmas party in the battery. Hotel was immaculate!Report
The patio made a great place to watch the Christmas Boat Parade plus walking distance to lots of attractions, shops, and sights. We loved our stay at Hotel Indigo.Report
Great view! Good food and quick service on room service orders.Report
Beautiful hotel in a top location steps from the Old Town. Great quality food at the downstairs restaurant. No buffet breakfast. Nice helpful staff. This is probably the best play to stay in AlexandriaReport
Nestled on the shores of one of the busiest ports in America Hotel Indigo® Alexandria is a charming enclave of colonial treasures and historic waterfront architecture. Between Old Town's iconic cobblestones to the north and the Potomac's storied banks to the east our boutique hotel showcases the neighborhood's dynamic allure. Traces of Alexandria's colonial past are evident throughout the hotel but the story got subterranean when crews unearthed a 50-foot vessel during construction. According to archaeologists the ship was abandoned in the late 18th century and served as a crucial part of the process responsible for extending the waterfront. Take in views of the river from our guest rooms or from the restaurant overlooking the water then head out to explore the quaint streets of Alexandria once home to George Washington Robert E. Lee and Jim Morrison.
