I brought my car in for a quick brake fix due to a scratching noise front passenger tire(Aug2023). Thinking this would be a lot faster than me fixing it, 5 hours later I end up with new rear brakes and the same noise I drove in with. I came back and requested my diagnostic fee back which took far more effort than it should have (I've never been charged for the diagnostic fee when the work is agreed to at other dealerships) and I was treated like I'm some dumb blonde female who brakes too hard. Fast forward a year later, I end up getting around to fixing my own brakes and turns out I have a locked up piston in the caliper. It wasn't that hard to figure out since I couldn't get the piston pushed back in to get the new pads to fit, but the other side I had no problem pushing the piston in. After I did finally get it assembled with new pads, they rub and smoke on the passenger side, so obviously the piston isn't working correctly. If the tech at Hosmer had inspected the braking system of the front passenger tire like I had requested, they would have found the issue. Instead, they found some easy way out with a quick buck on talking me into rear brakes. Makes me question if I even got new rear brakes. Lazy-yes, scammers- possibly, Integrity-questionable.

Amazing people to work with. Very polite and helpful. Would recommend to anyone who is just starting to look for cars. Joe Starr was my sales guy and he was amazing to work with.
