Our plane was over 5 hours late and Horseless Carriage had a wedding conflict. They STILL managed to get my wife and I to Virginia Beach. HIGHLY recommend them.

Horrible limousine service. The driver was not dressed up at all. He wore blue jeans, casual shoes, a polo shirt and didn't even wear a hat. I stepped in the limo, and I noticed that some of the glasses had wine stains in the bottom as if someone had just used them. There was a dried up lime wedge and a bottle cap that I had to pick out of the ice compartment. The limo itself just seemed very dingy inside. Not the fancy experience I had planned for my little girl's sweet 16. And certainly not worth the 6 (nearly 7) hundred dollars I paid. Only positive thing I have to say is the driver was early. But we ended up getting into it over the phone over the destinations my guests were going and the timing. Very unprofessional.

Edit) I'm not sure what contacting you prior to my review was going to do. The driver already showed up without appropriate clothing and with a filthy limousine. Were you going to send the driver home to change? Who I paid my money to isn't important; the fact remains I paid nearly $700 and used YOUR limo service. Kudos to you for diligently working to ensure cleanliness, but u dropped the ball on 8/6/21.

Thanks for making my mother’s 80th birthday so special! Fred and Rai were amazing and the prices are very reasonable. We will be using their service again soon!

We had a wonderful experience with this company! We used them for transportation to and from the airport as well as 3 other times during our stay for wedding activities. The drivers were very prompt, friendly, and always communicated. Great to have a reliable and safe transportation company. We will be using them next summer for our trip to Norfolk.

Absolutely amazing!!! I rented for 4 hours for my best friends birthday and the driver, Rai, was AMAZING!!! I would recommend this company to anyone and this will not be the last time I use them!

I cannot say enough great things about Fred (the owner of Horseless Carriage Limousine and his driver, Reggie). My 16 yr old daughter was flying into Norfolk by herself and needed to get to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. This was a 2hr car ride and I didn't know a soul in Norfolk. I googled limousine services in Norfolk and came across Horseless Carriage Limousine. What started out as a 5 minute informational call turned into an almost 30 minute phone call with Fred Paquet, the owner. As I began explaining my concerns to Fred, he quickly began putting my mind at ease. My daughter had flown before but had certainly never gotten into a car with a complete stranger. I shared my paranoia with Fred and he completely "got it". I soon learned about Fred's family and his years of public service to Norfolk. The longer we spoke, the more comfortable I became with him. Fred assured me that all of his drivers had impeccable reputations and that he would trust his own children with any of them. I was provided with the drivers personal cell number and was actually encouraged to call him ahead of time and "check him out". I did just that and had a great discussion with Reggie. I learned of his law enforcement background as well as his love for his children and his paranoia regarding his own daughter. He too totally "got me" and put my mind at yet another comfort level. My daughter's plane was scheduled to land shortly after midnight and I was worried about her having to seek out her driver at this time of night. Again, Fred stepped up and offered to have his driver park, enter the actual airport and be waiting at baggage claim for her. Phone numbers and flight info were exchanged and an incredibly fair and reasonable price was extended to me. Upon landing and taking her phone off airplane mode while taxiing to the gate, my daughter immediately received a text from her driver, Reggie. He had been tracking the plane and was literally inside waiting for her already. He explained to her where he would be and what he would be wearing. As she navigated through an airport she had never been to before, she took a wrong turn and realized she was not where she needed to be. She then took it upon herself to call Reggie and ask for assistance. He stayed on the phone w her and walked her through the concourses to put her back on the right track. Upon getting to baggage claim, she immediately saw Reggie as he had taken it upon himself to create a posterboard with her name written in large letters so she would know he was there for her. Together, they walked out to his vehicle (which she later commented was immaculate) and began their 2 hour ride to Corolla NC. They eventually arrived on time somewhere around 230-245 in the morning. My daughter was so impressed by him that she tipped him an additional amount with her own money despite knowing all monies had already been paid in full, including tip. When I spoke with her later that morning she was still on cloud 9 about the entire evening. Flying by herself from Charlotte to Norfolk, and then having certainly one of the MOST PROFESSIONAL, WELL-MANNERED, RESPECTFUL GENTLEMEN to personally escort her by car 2 hours down the road is something I dont think she will ever forget. Our world is filled with so much hatred and vile now that it sickens me to the core. We no longer trust people and find it so very hard to count on anyone to do anything. My entire experience with Horseless Carriage was incredibly therapeutic for me. I learned that there really still are perfect strangers you can trust with your most prized life possessions. I learned there are people who you may never cross paths with again that will absolutely have your best interests in mind. I learned being genuinely good and kind still counts for something. Thank you Reggie. Thank you Fred. Godspeed to both of you and your families. You will truly never know how much I appreciated all your efforts......
