Horrible hotel it gives holiday inn a bad name. Only pretty thing in the place was the lobby. We was told contential breakfast - nope. Floors were dirty, hair in the bed, bath tub stained , cheap doors in the rooms. VERY disappointed and would never step foot here again.
Stayed here overnight due to a local power outage after a wind storm. The premises was spotless. Staff was courteous and professional. The 2 room suite was very comfortable. I was surprised by the lack of an in-room safe. The food in the lobby was basically good but very expensive so not cost/effective. Breakfast was definitely a bit pricey.
Staff was great! I had booked a 2-bedroom suite.
It was very spacious and comfy. I was pleased with the cleanliness. The only thing that could have been better was if the shower stall was bigger. We ordered breakfast there. It was cooked to order and very tasty. So convenient. I was graciously offered a late checkout by the front desk clerk since I had to wait for my traveling companion to complete a lengthy business meeting. That was awesome!??
Our suite was roomy and clean. The bathroom had double sinks which was really helpful getting ready in the morning. The shower was a bit small but certainly adequate. Towels were soft and fluffy. The bed linens were also nice and the beds were comfortable. Would have liked better lighting by the beds but overall the room was large, clean and comfortable. The kitchen area had everything we needed. This is obviously an older property but the renovations are well done. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again while in the Ann Arbor area.
Hotel was reasonably priced for a sell out home game weekend. Front Desk staff was dismissive and very unprofessional discussing an issue with a guest with another guest where others could hear. Same front desk person was seen smoking at the front entrance of the hotel.
Our king-bed room was clean and the bed extremely comfortable. I like the shades instead of curtains. Somehow the bathroom mirror didn't fog up after taking a shower which was really nice. The sink stopper wouldn't stay up unless you held it with one hand. We're not 100% sure because the temp didn't go below 68 degrees, but we think the heating didn't work for the last two nights of our 4 night stay.
The hot breakfast included with our room was fine - scrambled eggs, bacon or turkey sausage, potatoes bits (not sure what Americans call them, but not hash browns, I think), 2 slices of toast and jelly, juice and coffee.
The fitness room was too hot - set at 76 degrees - and the TVs, very oddly, are placed in the wall at the back of the arc trainer and other equipment, so you can hear, but not see, them. There is a pool, and it looked fine, but I don't swim so I didn't go in.
Overall, we found the front desk staff, with one exception, to be somewhat curt, but the two staff members we served the breakfast were fine. One breakfast was mistakenly added to our charge, but was removed without any difficulty at check-out.
Saying it again, my husband and I just loved the comfortable bed and I really appreciated the non-fogging bathroom mirror, as well as the Keurig coffee maker in the room.
