Didn't stay. We were there for a Corvette Club Christmas party. Great food, very clean and great staff. I would recommend.

We enjoyed our stay. Staff was all friendly and helpful.

Good place to stay. Had some minor issue with AC not working properly and noises from housekeeping staff shouting in hallways at nights.

Couldn't ask for any better! They always treat us like we are family! We will always stay here!!!

My wife and I had booked a stay for Sunday 11/21 and Monday 11/22. We arrived to find the facility wasn't very clean, dirty and garbage in a number of areas. The room itself was reasonably clean, except for in the bathroom it appeared that someone had spilled a liquid on the wall next to the shower and it hadn't been fully cleaned. The room was in the fourth floor, with the window above the lobby. Sunday's stay was ok, reasonably uneventful. Monday, we had been out in Roanoke and returned to the room about 5 P.M. There was very loud construction noise, drilling, hammering in close proximity to our room. We ignored the noise for about 45 minutes and then contacted the front desk. The person who answered the phone said that there had been three other complaints and security was going up to advise them to stop. The noise continued for an additional 45 minutes. During our entire stay, there were a number of children present in the lobby. By the appearance, they were children of a hotel employee. There was also a dog present on Monday afternoon/evening. The children made a great deal of noise, screaming, hollering and crying. This was happening up until right at 11 P.M. Tuesday morning at 7 A.M. the construction noise began again. Hammering, drilling and cutting of metal. This noise woke my wife and I up, and prevented us from sleeping. We gathered our things and went to check out. My wife spoke to who we believe was the person in charge to reiterate our problem with the noise. The woman that she spoke to initially lied and said that she wasn't aware that there was construction noise happening. In the next breath, she said that the were converting part of the hotel into an extended stay facility, she apologized, not seeming very sincere. We were not notified upon booking the room that there was construction happening, there were not any notices posted in the lobby and nothing was mentioned by the clerk at check in that there could be construction noise. A complete waste of money!

Lobby looked okay. Halls were like prison halls with monotonous gray doors. Halls were very dirty and so were the rooms. Looked like a great place for rodents and bugs to live. But I didn't see any. I only had to stay for about 6 hours due to late arrival and early flight. My work made the reservation-not me.

I attended here for work and never again. After a shower I stepped bare foot on a chew that wasn't cleaned off the carpet and then found wrappers by the bed from gum! Disgusting!
Told the front staff upon checkout and they took my email and advised me a manager would contact me. Never happened. I emailed the hotel and no response.
I can only assume the management has no interest in cleanliness or follow up for its customers. I remembered why I usually only stay at Hampton Inns! Bye holiday inn and your filth.

To this day I never heard back from this hotel. Interesting how how the owner responds to good reviews with a thank you but won't contact poor reviews to follow up....

For Holiday Inn that to have "just been remodeled a year ago". It needs it again. Or a good cleaning. Our room was OK but it was very apparent that no had been in it for over a year. There was black mold in the bathroom and carpeting had not cleaned in as a many of months
The halls was just plain dirty. I asked the lady working on the rooms when was the last time the hallway had been vacuumed,but she couldn't tell me because of the language barrier.
