Holiday Inn Resort Bar Harbor - Acadia Natl Park

This place has a long line of cons and a few pros

1st, I would never suggest booking a room in the Eden house. It's very dated, minimal accommodations when it comes to in room services. The room we were in was very oddly designed, particularly the bathroom. Which had an inordinately large amount of space but it was completely unused and unusable, While the room was small in minimalistic.

2nd. There was no coffee in the room, the phone was broken, and the only way to easily access the room was to climb 3 flights of stairs. My sister was in boot with a broken foot and the handicap room was the furthest from an elevator.

3rd. It did not appear that the hotel was full, yet they still threw people out in this secondary building

4th, There was no included breakfast. Continental or otherwise

5th, I struggle to see how this was resort.

The benefits, was that it was located in a great spot. With excellent ocean views if you are staying in the main building I'm sure. The hot tub was lovely, and it was easy to access Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. But I would never recommend it based on the cost and what you receive. You would be better off getting an airbnb or finding another hotel.

From two days before our arrival making sure our needs were met, upgrading our room, to CoVid safety protocol, the staff went above and beyond making our stay very enjoyable. This is a beautiful place and although far from home, we hope to visit again. Thanks everyone at Holiday Inn Resort in Acadia!

This hotel charged my card incorrectly and ignored all my attempts to resolve it.

Stunning stay

The room had a dehumidifier running due to high humidity, could be a sign of Mold

We were not told in advance that there would be no food or beverage services. For the price we paid for the room one would expect at least a cup of coffee.

Visiting to see the fall foliage and requested ocean view. We were unexpectedly upgraded to the Dupont suite! Fantastic wrap around deck, huge living/dining room with king bedroom. Wish we had people to invite over for the views alone! Enjoyed our stay. Clean room, staff is friendly. Breakfast is disappointing.

I remembered that last year, I got a chance to stay at this place and it was a very nice to say. I got a chance to see the view of the sunrise and the view of the ocean. This place was great because I got to go to the pool and enjoy the hot tub there. As for the breakfast if I eat there, the presentation of the food is well done. The cooks really do a great job making the meals very neat and nice and fresh. The breakfast is overall delicious and I loved the foods there. Additionally, the staff is friendly as well which is what makes the place real good. This is a good place to stay if you are looking to get away and go to Maine. This hotel has a nice ocean view and a place where you can get up early and see the sunrise which is breath taking.
