Holiday Inn Lake City

As an IHG SPIRE ELITE member who has stayed at IHG properties throughout the USA and internationally, I feel that I am qualified to make this review. Rarely have I had a negative experience at an IHG property. My stay at this property is an exception.

CONS: Front desk staff was rude and non-helpful. No shampoo in room upon check-in and the room was not as clean as other IHG/Holiday Inns I stayed at. The room had a lingering musty smell and the bathroom floor was dirty.

Typically there are complimentary waters for those of us who use IHG exclusively for travel and attain SPIRE status..not an easy feat This property did not have this small yet appreciated service. When I asked about it, I was told that this property no longer has complimentary water.

PROS: The bed was comfortable and sheets were clean.

On another positive note, check out was quick because I couldn't wait to get out of there.

I only had coffee in the morning and it was fine.

Best Holiday Inn and suites we have stayed at - hands down!
Greeted by whimsical garden statues.
Spacious, comfortable rooms, tasteful decor throughout the hotel and lobby. And the indoor pool is beautifully tiled.
Staff are pleasant and accommodating.

A better place to stay in Lake City

I was heading home from business, and my company set me up with the reservation. Everything was good, except there was mold in the shower on the rail. I have a real big issue with that. Overall not bad

Bed comfortable But need more channels on TV while staying I know some people stay one night but you do have overall more people staying then one night to who it may concern I stayed a year and four months but I did go home at times I was up there for business purposes

After long drive which included a deer ramming into my left front fender it was nice to find a place to get some needed R

All staff was friendly and helpful to all service and working all day I could count on a comfortable and quiet nights rest . Thank you for making my stay the best possible and I will be recommending to my employer that I prefer to stay in this hotel over all I've stayed befor .
