Very relaxed atmosphere and tropical vibes?

is a good place in the middle of the route from Maimi to Key West. You can do day trip to Key West and other nice areas like Marathon. Overall it is cheaper in price. The hotel is not the best but the staff is very nice.

Great hotel for the price,,but should not be doing construction at 0818 in the morning,, on vacation to sleep in and not be awoken by jackhammering

Had higher expectations for the Holiday Inn, Key Largo.
-older rooms, nothing special , very humid and damp inside even with AC running. Reminded me a lot of the rooms at the Holiday Inn, Jamaica . Just a place to sleep at night , nothing more .
- really disappointed at the litter in the gardens and bushes surrounding the tropical pool and hot tub . So unsightly to sit in a beautiful pool area and look at litter .
- All of the staff were friendly and helpful .
-little to no recognition or value as a Spire-Ambassador member other than 500 points .
-You definitely want a room that faces the marina or pool/courtyard not the parking lot.
-Room prices are goofy expensive, as is IHG point redemptions , yes it's Key Largo but still there needs to be better value for your money or points.
-you'd think that Covid didn't exist with the utter lack of hand sanitizer and/or cleaning of the pool lounges and tiki bar area.
-An okay hotel with a beautiful pool, hot tub and Tiki bar area in beautiful Key Largo , they just need to try harder to be better . I'll be back to see if things are improved !, I'm a solid Holiday Inn guy, what can I say !

Clean hotel, good pools, good staff. Plan on staying next year.
