Holiday Inn Express Stamford

Best place

Parking is a little difficult. There's a parking lot but you'll need to walk around the block to the lobby. You used to be able to walk through the Crowne Plaza (hotel connected to Holiday Inn Express) but that door is locked because Crowne Plaza is currently closed. There's an intercom but lobby staff said they could not communicate with you or remotely open the door to the building from the Holiday Inn lobby.

Better than expected. For what they charge they give good return. Little noisy sometimes, but a great place to stay. Not my last time here.

Clean room. Almost a classy place.
Got a special online that had 2 beds in room when I needed one. My problem was I wanted to sleep in until noon check out. There was no don't disturb tag so housekeeping literally kept opening the door, about 6 times after 8 am. Then when I took a shower and stuck my head out to confirm checkout time, I was lied to and told 1130 am. It is noon. Phew! Never been hassled by housekeeping before.

Great staff, great value, clean facility all around.

I really didn't enjoy my stay at the hotel I was expecting more the breakfast is bad the beds are not comfortable and also too small
