Holiday Inn Express Fairfield

Active duty military traveling on orders. Pulled an all nighter driving from VA to Fairfield, OH to see my kids for a few days prior to checking into my new duty station. The gentlemen at the front desk (didn't get his name) was beyond helpful and pleasant. After driving for almost 10 hours through the night after being up since 0700 the previous morning it was nice deal with a front desk clerk that was so helpful and polite. The room was clean, the heater worked wonderfully, and there was plenty of towels. I have zero complaints.

Was actually pleasantly surprised with this hotel. I wasn't expecting much from a 2 star hotel but the room felt like a 4 star. Upgraded technology with comfortable, clean beds. The staff was very friendly and even asked about my travel and where I was from. Highly recommend this pet friendly hotel!

Great place, reasonable prices, super clean. 10/10. Front desk service was amazing. Would definitely recommend and return ?

When traveling I prefer the Holiday Inn, I understand due to Covid a lot has changed, I believe communication is a must, when either side drop's the ball it can make for an uncomfortable experience.

Room was not quite what was depicted on website. We had intended to do more gaming in-room, but tables were not particularly good for that. Double queen was cramped but adequate. Cleanliness OK. Staff efficient at both check-in and also check-out.

We just got done checking in, and there were a couple of small hiccups, which the manager took care of personally. We have some limitation issues with someone in our party, and we checked out the rooms to make sure we were satisfied with them. I'm saying a huge thank you for the extra mile.

Hotel could use some new carpeting and cleaned up but over all was a decent stay
