Holiday Inn Blmgtn Arpt South- Mall Area

The room was very nice minus the fact our room darkening blinds didn't work. Quiet hotel and comfy beds. My issue and why I gave it a 2-star review is the staff here are bordering on rude, specifically the ones who work at the front desk. When we checked in, the lady was quite short with me and snippy. She literally gave commands for what she needed: "hold your ID up, hold your credit card up, etc". The next staff issue was when we returned late at night back to the hotel. I had barely gotten my card reader out of my purse to scan it to open the main doors before the gentleman working the front desk opened the doors for me. He proceeded to almost belittle me while he told me I have to scan my card to get in and to remember that for future purposes. Not sure if all your front desk staff are short tempered, lacking sleep or what, but they surely could use some training on being welcoming…especially since most hotels are.

Refused to give me a room saying a group had booked up the rooms. Parking lot was not 10% full. So much for being a "preferred member."

I'm going to miss this place specially the three workers that work there they made my stay more welcome
