Holiday Inn Big Rapids

The room was spacious, clean and the bed very comfortable. The staff were pleasant and friendly. The facility is going through a remodel but the areas are being kept clean. That can be a challenge with construction. Our stay was a good experience overall. I would recommend this Holiday Inn!

Due to tight staffing, I was told i would not be able to check in before 3PM, as I typically have been able to in the past-

The lobby was under construction, with plastic sheeting up to delineate work site from guests and construction.

Slept good, nice pillows and mattress.

The breakfast came out in stages, with the full menu being brought out by 8AM;

Room 429 has bedbugs as of 12/8/21. It is not their fault as it is hard to catch but I did not even get an apology. I was quickly moved to another room but they didn't move over my checkout date and time so they woke me up at noon ( i work nights)by knocking and saying my stay is basically over( 2 times). I had to explain that I transferred rooms.

They are being taken over by amerilodge who seem to be making rennovations as their carpets are hideous.

Thank You Rebecca Grody for bring this to my attention. I will review with executive house keeper for corrective action. I hope you give us another chance in the future to show that this was a error, and not the norm.

This hotel is really nice it allowed comfort to my family. The suite we stayed in allowed spacious room for us and gave us area for our children. Would recommend this hotel.

Under construction, bar and restaurant not open, per the pictures, ice machine didn't work, called and they said breakfast went til 11, got there at 10 and they said it closed at 9:30. Not worth the money at all.

Great value and close to Ferris State campus (I even walked one day when the weather was warmer). We have stayed here twice and both times the staff is very accommodating. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. It's close to the highway when going back to Grand Rapids airport and also close to the town of Big Rapids and shopping.

I have been staying at a lot of hotels across America and I have come to realize that HI model of owner operated by a sole proprietor results in an overall dump. If that's what HI wants in an experience for its customers then I will stay somewhere else. Please rename Holiday Dump to lessen the confusion and better align with customer expectations.

Rooms and staff good, but need the bar back. After working and driving truck for 14hr, I am not allowed to drive in my truck anymore by DOT, Istop here because they had a bar / restaurant, but not anymore.
