Save yourself the time and agrivation don't shop here. Bought a Honda Certified Used 2022 Pilot here in February. In 4 months I've had to bring it in to have repairs 3 times, the last of which the service manager attempted to defraud me out of fixing warranteed broken parts by lying to me and telling me "That's just how Hondas are. They are all like that," and that he was doing me a favor by paying for my diagnostic out of HIS pocket. This is a Certified used car. I pointed out that I had rented a newer Pilot that didn't do that and he claimed they are built different, which they are not. The service manager again said he was not going to change any parts or do anything more than a "calibration" (which had already been done) and told me to go home. I threatened to go to the Attorney General if the problem wasnt fixed as it is a waranteed vehicle and left. I arrived the next day and was told that they changed the part, which magically solved the problem that the service manager claimed didnt exist. Currently going through the Attorney General's consumer protection division to get another warranteed part fixed because once again they are refusing to fix it because, "thats just how Hondas are." This time it's one of Honda's safety features malfunctioning. This is 4 months after buying the vehicle. Dealerships in this state are a dime a dozen. I would NOT ever shop here or recommend shopping here. If this is any indication of Hondas Certified Vehicle Warranty program I wouldn't recommend buying a Honda. This will be my first and last.

Update: After involving the Attorney General's consumer protection division, dealership denied knowing there was an ongoing issue (even though it had been into the dealership twice for the same thing and I told the service manager it was an ongoing issue last time I was there) but offered to take it for a third time have a "field tech" look at it, but could offer no guarantee that the issue would be fixed. Contacted Honda corporate customer service who advised me to bring my vehicle to another Honda dealership to get fixed and not to have my vehicle serviced at this dealership as my warranty is transferable and this specific issue should be covered.

Edit: Really wish I could give 0 stars after speaking with their joke of a GM James Bulger because I left a review before I spoke with him, to warn others about the service they give, I was told “maybe you should go to Bernardi again”. Oh don’t worry, I’ll never be back to Westborough. When I expressed how disappointed I was and that I felt they didn’t do their job because they never diagnosed anything either time, he LAUGHED and asked, “so do you even want to come back here?”. Just know that you’re working with children here who don’t even know how to take care of a car that they’re supposed to be licensed to. I’ve already reached out to the parent company that bought Herb Chambers as well explaining how I was treated the entire process.

Save your time, money and mental health and go to Bernardi in Natick.

I’ve been dealing with this dealership for about a month now and I never want to go back. I had a head gasket test done about 1 month ago because I noticed my coolant dropping and I said to the service advisor Brianna (little secret, she didn’t listen, and they tried to turn it around on me and say it was a miscommunication), that my car is sputtering when I hit 3,000 rpm. I pick it up, and I’m told there’s nothing wrong with it. I try to pull out onto route 9 and I can’t because of how bad it is. But there was nothing wrong, right? I bring it back because I need this fixed. They charge me another diagnostic after their screw up. They have my car for 3 days, to turn around and say it’s the spark plugs. Okay great, I replace the spark plugs. My car is still sputtering. They’re just looking to rob you, and gouge you while not actually finding out what’s wrong. Don’t worry, when you’re told that you can replace the spark plugs on their lot, you’ll then have the whole service department coming at you saying you were about to have the police called on them because that’s trespassing. Yet there’s no signs up ANYWHERE saying you can’t do anything in the lot, like other places. To top it all off, James the service advisor or manager, whoever because they never specified which one, told my mechanic, “oh I thought she was bullshitting”, when I was having issues with my car.

So in the end, if you want to lose money, not have your car fixed, have them talk badly about you (a PAYING customer), and threaten to call the police on you, by all means go here. I’d rather give my business to a company that cares, not this one.

Honda Westborough service is worst place you can take your car. Not only they are not professional, they don’t fix car and looted $4000 without fixing. They wouldn’t let us see if the car is fixed or release car without payment. I had to involve cops and go to court for this loot. Save yourself from going through this terrible experience, heartburn abd sleepless nights. Don’t go here

Love the vehicle but dealership did not process MA state tax properly resulting in our refund being withheld! Customer Service fail!
We purchased a 2025 Honda CRV on December 17, 2024. The salesperson was great, as was as the initial finance person who assisted us with the paperwork to complete the sale. We picked up the car on December 23 and were on our way. About a week later, I realized that there was no inspection sticker on the vehicle. I contacted the dealership where I was told that they were unable to complete inspections at this time as Honda Westborough was undergoing an ownership change and they did not have the ability to issue registration stickers. I was assured that I could go anywhere and have it inspected and they would reimburse me this cost once I provided them a receipt (I was charged for this in the initial paperwork despite the fact that they could not provide it.) I could have overlooked this issue and the 3 months it took to reimburse us, if it was not for what transpired next. Towards the end of March, we received a letter in the mail from the State of Massachusetts claiming that we owed an estimated $1400 in sales tax as according to them, we underpaid this. There were also penalties and fees added to this bill. I immediately looked over our sales paperwork and the correct sales tax was recorded and paid to the dealership. I reached out to the dealership and explained what we had received to Michael in finance. He asked me to forward this information to him and assured me that it would be taken care of. Paperwork was emailed the same day to Michael/the dealership. Several weeks later, we filed our taxes and were expecting a refund check from the state. Approximately 2 weeks after we filed, we received a letter from the state that due to our outstanding auto sales tax bill, they were garnishing our refund and putting it towards the invoice with a remaining balance of approximately $800. I immediately called the dealership, which unfortunately was closed at the time. I left a message in regards to this situation. The following day, I did not hear back so I proceeded to physically go to the dealership where I spoke with the general manager. He assured me that he would look into the matter and took copies of all the paperwork. I received a call the following day from the GM who went over the situation and stated that he would be having a check cut for the state refund that was garnished and it would be resolved. A few hours later, I received a second call stating that they could not cut me a check as the dealership had paid the correct total amount to the state and that I would have to file certain forms with the state to have them correct the issue. Apparently, when the vehicle was registered, the dealership underpaid the vehicle tax at the registry by an estimated $900. They discovered this during a routine monthly audit and sent in a second check to pay the balance. According to the dealership, this $900 check was not credited to our sale/our name. I drove to the dealership again, to pick up their documentation and necessary forms to file with the state. There was no explanation from the dealership as to why this was not cleared up when we received the first letter. I sat down to prepare the paperwork to send out to the state and discovered that it was not the 2nd $900 check that was not appropriate to us but the 1st $1400 check. Had this been looked into by the dealership it should/would have been cleared up in March and we would have never had an issue with our state refund. After multiple hour plus trips out to the dealership to fix their issue and much frustration, the dealership passed the buck on resolving the issue and there has been no follow up from them to assure that this issue has been resolved. They made the sale and they wrote us off.

1 star for used cars, 3 stars for service.
I don’t recommend buying used cars here. This dealer has a history over the last 10 years of selling cars that are $3000 to $4000 over market value as noted on Carguru or Edmunds. They do not believe in negotiation either. The car salesman was not very nice either. Try Honda Danvers or a Honda Parkway. They have fair pricing, great Customer service , and negotiate. Do your homework if you buy a car here. Quite frankly don’t do it!!

Honda of Westborough excels in customer care as much as auto mechanics and knowledge. I have owned or leased many Hondas over the last 35 years in multiple states and this dealership stands apart for a few reasons: a) the purchase/lease experience isn’t pressured and is transparent b) the service team is knowledgeable and again doesn’t pressure but is clear regarding the “why” behind the what makes the vehicle last longer and drive better and c) the dealership acts like a team. From the moment you walk in you get a sense that the employees actually like being there (not always the case). This translates to the different departments working together to help me- the customer.
I travel a distance to complete my usual service appointments and it’s worth it.

Clean, professional and friendly environment. I was in and out fairly quickly, with little to no hassle at all with buying a used Toyota Rav-4 model. I did not feel like I was being targeted or taken advantage of at all. I came from CT looking for a great deal and did get one. I especially would like to give praise to Alex from Sales for his diligent effort in being polite, transparent and having integrity in helping me register my vehicle while selling me a no BS product. Highly recommend.

One year ago, I decided to finance a car. I went to Toyota first, but I was treated very poorly there and was about to give up on getting a car. Then I passed by Honda of Westborough, and everything changed.
Mir (who sadly doesn’t work there anymore) helped me that day, and he, along with the rest of the team, treated me with so much kindness and respect. I felt comfortable and valued, and I left with a brand-new car and a big smile.
After one year, I still love my car, and every time I go back for service or an oil change, they continue to treat me with the same care and attention.
Thank you Honda of Westborough, for giving me such a great experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great service and a team that truly cares.

I am not huge fan of the whole car buying experience, but Alex Mahnken by far made the entire experience seamless, efficient, and personable! Alex was knowledgeable, responsive, and easy to work with. I am very happy with the new Honda CR-V and highly recommend Honda Westborough.
