Harry Hawthorne, MD, was raised in Sterlington, Louisiana and received his bachelor of science in biology with a minor in general chemistry. Dr. Hawthorne earned his medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. He completed his family medicine residency at the University of Tennessee and is Board Certified in family medicine. Dr. Hawthorne is a professional member of the American Academy of Family Practitioners, Louisiana State Medical Society and Louisiana Academy of Family Practitioners. His hobbies include spending time outdoors with friends and family and watching his favorite sports teams try not to lose in heartbreaking fashion every week.
