Hanger Clinic helps amputees and individuals with musculoskeletal disabilities and injuries improve their quality of life with orthotic and prosthetic solutions. This San Marcos, Texas Hanger Clinic facility, formerly OPT, is located on Wonder World Drive, east of I-35, across from Brookdale Senior Living Facility. We are the only prosthetic location in the San Marcos area. This clinic offers orthotic and prosthetic services by Texas licensed and ABC certified clinicians. Our clinicians are experienced and researched driven, utilizing the latest technology in the prosthetic and orthotic industry including: Insignia cad cam technology, vacuum suspension, microprocessor prosthetic knees and feet, and myoelectric upper extremity prosthetics. We have strong relationships with referring physicians, therapists, and manufactures that ensure patients experience a team approach to rehabilitation. Our vision is to be the local partner of choice for services and products that enhance your child's physical capability. Peer Support Beyond clinical care, Hanger Clinic created and supports the AMPOWER Program, a three-tiered program designed to empower and strengthen those affected by amputation or limb difference through peer mentorship, education and community. AMPOWER hosts an online community, EmpoweringAmputees.org, which was established to provide guidance and encouragement for those with limb deficiency and limb loss.
