This Austin, Texas Hanger Clinic facility, formerly Conner Brace Company, Inc., is within the Mueller Community located inside the Dell Children Strictly Pediatrics Medical Building on the corner of Barbara Jordan Boulevard and Lancaster. Our office is in the building right next door to the Ronald McDonald House. This clinic offers orthotic and prosthetic services by experienced Texas licensed and ABC certified clinicians that specialize in pediatric care. Our clinicians are experienced and researched driven, utilizing the latest technology in the O&P industry including: Insignia Cad Cam technology, Cranial Remolding Bands, Spinal and Lower Extremity Orthoses, Prosthetic Knees and Feet and Upper Extremity Prosthetics. We have strong relationships with Dell Children's Hospital physicians and therapists; coordinate daily care between the hospital and the Hanger Clinic office. Our Vision is to be the local partner of choice for services and products that enhance your child's physical capability. Peer Support Beyond clinical care, Hanger Clinic created and supports the AMPOWER Program, a three-tiered program designed to empower and strengthen those affected by amputation or limb difference through peer mentorship, education and community. AMPOWER hosts an online community, EmpoweringAmputees.org, which was established to provide guidance and encouragement for those with limb deficiency and limb loss. AMPOWER also provides in-person and over-the-phone support, education and the opportunity for community connection. Community Involvement Hanger Clinic locations throughout Austin provide sponsorship and support for Extremity Games, Paralympics, Camp No Limits, MDA Muscle Walk, Amputee Coalition, and donated used prosthetics for Haiti relief.
