Good Chemistry

I live right in the neighborhood and this is the only dispensary I will shop at. The store is clean, organized, and has a great selection. The entire staff is always so nice & personable. For me, the biggest thing I look for is having a consistent experience and Good Chem Colfax always comes through. As a medical patient I've shopped around at many dispensaries but this place is by far the best. Also worth noting that their flower is fantastic, the Lavender strain (recommended by budtenders) has allowed me to consistently sleep at night again. Thanks so much Colfax staff!

tl;dr From one of the best price/quality balances in Denver to one of the worst. Deals confirmed by phone don't necessarily exist. Don't waste your time.

Everyone jacked prices on flower at the beginning of the pandemic, but most places have come down. I started coming in 2019 when this place was at 90/oz. That was an unparalleled deal then, for the quality. Now they're still trying to charge $150 (pretax) for preweigh eighths that you can't inspect, compared to 90 for about the same quality at The Health Center.

I thought they still had a good deal on cartridge refills, so I called ahead to confirm and was told yes, still 8g for 120. When I got there, I was told that was for wax and the refill syringes were 160. Even their ATM fee was septupled from less than a year ago. Idk if it was sold to a greedy corporate chain or what, but I'm done here unless there's a great deal IN PRINT.

Edit: just saw the owner's response to someone who hadn't had the pleasure of calculating Colorado pot tax in his head. "Colorado law allows us only to advertise pre-tax prices" or something like that. THIS IS A LIE. Check any Westword and half of the pot ads advertise "OTD" (out the door) pricing, as they have done for years. From two to one stars you go.

I'm sad to have had to edit a 5-star review from a couple years ago. To any frontline employees reading this, I'm sorry, everyone I've actually interacted with has been friendly, helpful, and with the one exception, knowledgeable. You can only do what the capital owners allow...

Great rosin selection, and reasonably priced too. 710, Lazercat and Leiffa for way cheaper than some places. Plus they always have like 18ish strains of flower to choose from. All the flower is grown by them, unlike some dispensaries who have to outsource for flower because their gardens are not passing, or barely passing testing requirements. I've never had a bad customer service experience at Good Chemistry either. The bud-tenders and managers are extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

Best dispensary in Denver hands down! Highest quality flower and concentrates at the best price. Budtenders know what they're doing and are very helpful. Seriously, you have to check this place out.

Used to be my go to spot, but this $40 an 1/8 and no price reduction for an oz on certain strains is ridiculous. It's not worth the price. Customer service is great though that's why the 3 stars.

Thank you for your feedback, Steve. We have recently launched access to small batch strains. Small batch strains are grown on a small scale and lead to producing a much smaller amount of product. For this process we follow very strict and costly protocols to ensure we are developing the highest quality flower possible. We hope to have a chance to serve you at Good Chemistry again soon!

friendly staff that takes care of you once you're in the door. the small lobby means they currently allow one person inside. extra people have to wait outside. online orders are first priority, so if you're walk in customer, you gotta wait, so definitely order ahead. good inventory, reasonable prices

Update: The customer service post this post was amazing. They took care of everything I had issues with and explained why they do certain things. The price I still think pricing is high but the quality of the buds and the trimming was far superior than the last time, they were very well trimmed and dense.

Definitely a tourist dispensary. The flower quality is not very good at all especially for the price. If you are a Denver resident I would suggest looking else where. If you are a tourist just do your research there is a high concentration of shops in the same area a 20minute walk could see you having a much better experience.
