The quality of customer service in the service department has really gone down since Phil Long purchased the business

Service department really going down hill. Less knowledgable, poorer customer service, now charging for estimates and quoting jobs. I personally was not charged this time because I complained about it to the service staff but as I was told this has always been their practice which I have not experienced the last few years.

Greg, we did not charge you for diagnosis of an exhaust leak on your last invoice (#54753) from April 3, 2018. We have notes that the heat shields and exhaust manifold would need to be removed to determine if the failure is from the gasket or a crack in the manifold, which we unfortunately would have to charge for since removal and re-installation is over 3 hours. Your other vehicles and invoices show diagnosis on multiple occasions without any charges. If you have an invoice to the contrary I would be more than happy to discuss this with you. I brought my car here on Wednesday from 9:30am - 3:00pm during this time nothing was worked on for my car. I was told I needed a part they did not have and to come back another day. The car has been shaking and not driving well on the highway, the drive to this dealer is an hour away. I offered to leave the car or come back and leave the car. The customer service was not the best and I work in customer service as well. Leaving the dealer my car stopped working and broke down coming off the highway, after having been at the dealer for close to 6 hours and nothing being fixed on it. I then called the dealer twice to talk to them about this and asked if I could tow it there and at least get a rental car, there were no cars available until Tuesday. I had it towed somewhere else and they found the problem and contacted me within an hour. You would think having "worked" or looking at my car for 5 1/2 hours they would see a simple air filter that was unattached and would either fix that or not let a customer get on the road for an hour long trip. Super disappointed to add this dealership to the list of untrustworthy shops.

You guys rock! After an unhappy visit which was completly my fault to begin with for being late these guys have done amazing work on my vehicle and well continue to come as my prefered service center. Not only do they have the BEST prices on tires in the valley they have an amazing service department that takes care of all your needs. Continue the great service guys!

Kevin, We strive to provide excellent service to all our customers. Our service manager said you came here close to 5pm for tires and an alignment which typically takes about two hours to perform. Our service advisor asked one of the technicians if he would stay late to perform the service, and unfortunately, the technician had prior obligations after work. I can't even begin to describe how great of a dealership this is! I saw the car I wanted desperately, but I live 3 hours away from Phil Long Subaru. I explained my situation to Bernadette, a wonderful car saleswoman there, and she brought the car TO ME!! I have never experienced service like what I received from Phil Long Subaru or from Bernadette. If you are looking to buy a car, please give your business to them! You will NOT regret it!!! If you can, ask for Bernadette, TRUST ME it's a great decision!

I took my subaru (that I bought when I lived in Denver) for my 12,000 mile service and 2 recall fixes and they got me in and out quickly they were nice and explained all of the services to me in detail. I also talked to Ryan while I waited, about end of lease options for my other subaru, and he was more than helpful. I definitely was happy with my visit and will be going back for any of my subaru needs.

Update: I bought my newest subaru here from Ryan and they set me up with Christie to go over all my new features. She was fantastic! Besides being knowledgeable in all the newest features, she was so sweet and fun to be around. I left with my day feeling a little brighter and a fantastic car.

Tucker along with the other staff I encountered were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I took my car in for an oil change which includes a complimentary inspection. They discovered my car needed a lot of work and gave me all the information and had patience while I figured out my budget. They were honest and reliable with my car and billing the entire time. I just drove my car about 2000 miles and didn't have a single issue after all the work they did.
After being informed Ford down the street charges hundreds just to inspect I am very pleased with Subaru and this specific service location.

I had one of the worst customer experiences ever with the service department. The general manager was unwilling and to me seemed very uninterested in find a solution or compromise that would satisfy the customer.

We appreciate your honest feedback about your recent visit. We take our clients' comments seriously. I am sorry you felt the service did not meet your expectations. When we had spoke, I had advised that if the key lost programming after a month the key is most likely bad. The key is over 14 years old on your 2007 Outback and they do need replacing at some point. If you would like for us to get a new key cut and programmed, we would be happy to do that for you, that way you have a key you know will start the vehicle when you most need it.
