Glass Onion Cafe

We finally stopped in The Glass Onion after a long time of driving by but never having the time to stop in and check it out. WOW!! So glad we found this place. My husband and I both had sandwiches that were DELICIOUS!!! Even though the sandwich was pretty filling, I went ahead and ordered the french onion soup (as another customer's looked and smelled so good) So glad I did. It was to die for!! The best french onion soup I have ever had!! You could taste all the rich flavors from the caramelized onions, seasoned crust-inis, and cheese. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. We met the owner who was very friendly and the customer service all around was great. Seemed to be several regulars that stopped by and I understand why. I only wish we had stopped in sooner. You know when you go out to a restaurant and it is so good you want the exact same thing the next day? This is that kind of place. How nice to find a delicious owner operated restaurant on the NW side amongst a sea of mediocre restaurant chains.

Fresh healthy choices served up by a very cool fun staff, they really make you feel like part of the family! The live music by local artist is entertainment the whole family can enjoy. And my favorite BREAKFAST ALL DAY EVERYDAY!!! They take the time to make everything from scratch and you can taste the difference that this kind of love and devotion sets them apart from the rest. With vegan/vegetarian options too!
