About 2 years back had "both" my bottom wisdom teeth removed. They struggled to get the left one out as it was severely impacted, they said they had to stop which was fine but I was told the tooth was cut in half and that the roots would come out by themselves later. Had a horrific healing process, they hadnt stitched that side up, and essentially left a hole in my mouth with nerves exposed.

6 months ago after dealing with pain for a year and a half and noticing I had an infection where the tooth was I tried to book in with them again online a few times just so someone could take a look and maybe prescribe me antibiotics, i wrote the reason for the booking so they knew I just wanted antibiotics. All my booking attempts were rejected.

Went to a different dentist where they took an xray and discovered they only removed a quarter of my tooth and left the rest intact, so Gibson Dentistry not only refused to even try to treat the issue, but lied to me about my extraction and still charged me in full.

The surgeon that eventually removed my tooth was so shocked by what happened he cut the fee of the second removal, but I was still out of pocket by $400.

Go literally anywhere else for your dental work if you want to get seen to properly. Wouldve given 0 stars if I could.

Terrible experience here unfortunately my teeth ended up worse off then when I first initially arrived. Luckily I went elsewhere where they seemed to have more knowledge surrounding orthodontics, fixed the problem within a year.

Came in today to get my broken tooth fixed and was attended to very quickly. The lady at the reception counter even commented on my brand new front tooth!

Went in with incredibly bad tooth ache, was told it was a different tooth hurting me, wanted $350 up front to remove it and on top of that $170 consultant fee for a health care card holder!
Went and saw another dentist who did a few tests and found the 2 teeth that were the actual problem on the complete opposite side of what the dentist from Gibson's said... cost $250 to have both removed including consultation fee & they were so much more inviting and comforting...after all it is the dentist and no one enjoys having to go... Gibson's offered no support or compassion.

I used to be very anxious when going to the dentist, but Gibson Dentistry put my fears at ease immediately! Everyone explained the treatment and what to expect, and weirdly enough I was actually looking forward to having Dr Kay remove my wisdom teeth! If anyone has any fears about going to the dentist I can highly recommend this place! For the first time every I'm excited to get the rest of my teeth fixed!

I moved here from Melbourne and have never experienced such unprofessionalism.
I have seen four different dentists from this clinic, including the owners (head dentists) and they are as bad as each other.
Every time I have had a procedure, the end result has been nothing short of awful, and I've had to return to have the problem rectified.
Eg. Misshapen teeth, cracks in filling, exposed nerve, filling not colour matched etc.
I finally made a formal complaint and was completely ignored.
Hopefully as Traralgon and the surrounding towns grow, more skillful and efficient dentists take up business and improve the current low standard.
This goes for doctors, specialists, physios & vets, which in my opinion fall way below par in Gippsland.

Have always been treated with kindness and respect and would highly recommend this clinic. A+!

Waste of money, wouldn't recommend or go back.
