Used Gemini Floor Services to refinish the floor in my condo. They are really responsive on the phone but sometimes not too fast to respond via email. Dyal and Sallyann were great in answering any questions or concerns. The work their employees did on the floor was pretty good, made the floor smoother and shiny with the extra coating and they were able to get the job done for a 640 square foot apartment within 3 days (due to furniture moving) but without furniture they can do it within 1 day. Would recommend them for flooring work.

Great job, reasonable price. Came when they said they would, charged what they said would, and did what they said they would. A rarity these days. Recommend and would use again.

Avoid at all costs. The initial job looked good except for various debris trapped under the finish. When it was apparent it required more than a few touch ups to fix (the guy who came to take a look said "They messed up your floors"), they offered to partially redo it. The redo was even worse, with some sort of brush fibers trapped everywhere - which was blamed on a brand new brush they had used.

Dyal showed up to review the second attempt and said "At some point you're just going to have to accept it." and tried to blame the brush fibers on wood having "grains". This is not quality workmanship. He called me difficult, told me to find another company, and offered to refund half my money, leaving with his workers.

Edit: The additional work would not have been necessary had the floor been done properly the first time. The redo ended up worse than the initial job. The second refinish was in rooms that were empty, so the only people walking on it were your workers. My dog was out of the house the whole time the floors were being redone, so to blame her is laughable.

The pictures speak for themselves. If you want floors that look like this, by all means use Gemini. If you want some free verbal harassment and gaslighting thrown in, Dyal is your man.

Hi Andrew, we are sorry you were not satisfied but we did go above and beyond by returning & redoing the floor a second time without any extra charge. You had already replaced all your furniture and let your dog on the floor making more work, also walking on the floor during the second refinish, all which didn't help. We even offered a 50% refund when you still weren't satisfied. This is the first incident we've had of a customer we could not satisfy and we work very hard to please each customer. Have a nice day.

Working with Gemini floors was a pleasure. They are very cautious and professional. My floors came out beautifully and the pricing was very reasonable. I would refer them to anyone.
