Gateway Subaru

I've never had a positive experience at a dealership until I shopped here. All major paperwork could be completed online so it made it a breeze when I got there in person!

After a 5 hour drive each way, the last thing I wanted to do was a bunch of paperwork and be given the runaround by a salesman like I had gotten at previous dealerships. Thankfully, this wasn't the case here, and Kyle had my new car ready to go! Paperwork was a breeze and he even had my car pulled out front for me on arrival. I was offered hot chocolate and was made very comfortable throughout the process. They informed me what I was signing on every paper and I didn't feel like they were trying to pull anything over on me. No predatory salesmen, no unnecessary fees, and no false promises. Just an easy and pleasant transaction.

Loving my new vehicle, and it was worth the 5 hour drive each way not to deal with all the nonsense I've dealt with at other locations. Happy to be a customer of Gateway Subaru!

Poor customer service. Called on a Friday and was told someone would call me back by the end of the day to answer my question. Never heard from anyone. Had to call on Monday evening again.
Two times I've called wondering when my car/parts would be done/arrive because I hadn't heard from anyone for over a month... and "magically" my car was done/parts had arrived that day but no one had had the chance to call me. Also they only do installs on parts Monday - Friday which is not convenient hours for those that work or those of us who do not live near the dealership.

While my salesperson was great and this is the 3rd car I have bought from her, and the 5th from this dealership, and my 12th Subaru overall. I was very unhappy with my interaction with the Sales Manager. The dealer ship on the whole has been very good to us over the last 8 years.

Great place to work. People are warm, inviting, & very knowledgeable. Showroom and service areas are very clean and tidy. Appreciate & respect how they are involved in their community & the many fundraising events they are a part of. They donate to education, the environment, and animal welfare, among others, in ways no other company does & that means a great deal.

We stopped by Wednesday evening 11/26/24 and they apparently closed early without notice anywhere. Stopped by Friday afternoon 11/28/24 lady at the desk paged for a salesman to come to the desk to assist us as we had our eye on the Honda Pilot. We stood there for close to 10 minutes and no salesman came up. There was another person that walked in the door and immediately a salesman offered assistance. We walked out! You lost a sale and Pohanka Toyota gained the sale! Thanks Pohanka for this beautiful truck!

Our experience at Gateway Subaru was great. Our salesperson made the process very easy and was a pleasure to work with.

Superlative customer service and auto mechanic workmanship. Fantastic and recommend without hesitation.

Run on over to Gateway Subaru in Salisbury and ask for Steven Dengler, Leasing and Sales. This was by far the best experience I’ve had buying a car. Steven was courteous, informative, friendly and so helpful. He never seemed to be in a rush, like most men do when selling a car to the opposite sex, and we learned so much. Gateway is having amazing offers so I would run down to see Steven.
