Horrible experience. Took my subie in for an oil change 3/1/2024 when I got home there was smoke coming out of the hood, opened up the hood and there was oil everywhere. The oil cap was off and laying on the side next to the battery. Called them back and explained what happened, they came to where I was at to look at the car, and they drove it back to the dealership. They offered to powerwash the engine but the smell of burnt oil lingered on for Weeks.
It happened a second time on 7/5/24.The technicians spilled oil on the bottom of the driver side of the car, I noticed when I got home again after an oil change, burnt oil smell, white smoke, the cap was on tight this time but the bottom of my car was covered in oil and I had an oil stain in my driveway. Drove it back to the dealership and the Service Advisor saw the white smoke and smelled the burnt oil. My car smells like burnt oil again. Completely disappointed and upset. I am traumatized every time I need to get an oil change. Unfortunately, it's the only Subaru service place in El Paso.
