First Star Exteriors

We had issues finding a metal, siding, and gutter company to finish out a project we were doing at our house. I was sitting in traffic one day and the First Start Exteriors truck was in front of me (marketing works!). I immediately called the number on the truck and the next day Deric was at my house getting measurements for a quote. The next week we had guys finishing our project. The whole experience was smooth. Deric and Mark were very professional and made sure the work I was receiving was top notch and I was happy with it. Highly recommend.

After the March 2023 tornado, as a single woman, I was so concerned my lack of experience with insurance claims would surely make me an easy target. Jared reassured me from the very beginning, they’d fight my insurance company and see that my roof and gutters were fully covered. At first, my insurance company resisted accepting responsibility, but with the persistence of Shari, they finally did. Thank you, Shari and Jared, with 1st Star Roofing for your guidance and persistence of providing excellent service during this overwhelming and traumatic time for my family.

Would not recommend. Had roof replaced, which ended up leaking and ruining the ceiling in a bedroom as well as personal property. First Star hired someone to repair the ceiling, who never completed it and stopped answering calls. First Star did nothing to remedy the situation and also stopped responding.

Deric Herring and his crew provided first class service! They did a great job and didn’t make us wait forever. They left the yard very clean and the new roof is awesome.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had a good experience with this company earlier this year. When I needed them again I had them come by, but never even got a quote from them. Texted them 4 times, called them, finally got them to respond and they stated they'd get me the quote by that afternoon. Needless to say they didn't send me anything. Frankly shocked that a company would just dismiss business, and if they didn't want the business they should've had just told me.

I highly recommend First Star. They were there for me in the toughest time when my house was crushed by the large tree beside our house during the May tornados. They were out so quick to help with emergency tarping for us. They even came back and tarped again once the tree was removed. They are very professional and kind. As you can imagine, that was a very stressful time for us but having them respond so quickly and help in any way they could, helped us get through it all. You won't be disappointed if you choose to work with them.

Fantastic company! I got a few quotes for them for some work on a few items. They are able to do quite a bit of exterior work which is very helpful! They added gutters to the house and did a fantastic job. And got it done quickly as well, which was nice. I most spoke/dealt with Jaxson and he was extremely helpful. Would most definitely recommend First Star Exteriors if you have any exterior work you need done.
