During my time in the program I learned a lot about what it means to be a filmmaker and about what it takes to work in the industry. It was a great experience.

Today I met my mentor. We went over my ideas for my future projects. I can’t wait to get rolling on them. He’s going to help me sculpt them into something special, I think.

I’ve learned so much about the production process already. Last week I worked on a music video and next week I’ll be helping my mentor make a short film. This has all been such a dream come true.

My mentor and I have been planning a documentary about the boardwalk. He’s been helping me decide on the best way to tell the story visually. What camera angles to use and what style of editing will make the project come to life the most.

I suggest you do it yourself instead of spending money here.

The Film Connection has introduced me to three producers, two screenwriters, two directors, PLUS the opportunity to pitch my scripts to all of them. Keep in mind, for this to work for you, you must be determined so your energy will feed into the Film Connection. At least with me, they have bent over backwards to make me successful. Film Connection has opened doors to me that would definitely not have been there on my own.
