At Family Traditions Child Care we understand that one of the most important decisions you'll ever make is who to care for your child when you're away. Our safe, secure and stimulating environment is the perfect place for children to discover their unique gifts and talents, as well as the world around them. You'll always know what your child is doing and how they are performing in our care.
Family Traditions Child Care is a private in-home family-based child care center. Kelley Ebert created the program, an aspiring stay-at-home mom who wanted so much to be able to leave her job and stay home with her 8-month old son, Trent. She knew first-hand how stressful it was finding someone she felt comfortable leaving her son with; this along with finding someone who was flexible and took infants… nearly impossible. She didn't know why she didn't think of it sooner; creating an in-home family-based child care program that is flexible, welcomes infants, has an educational curriculum, and is a home away from home. Being a nanny for 5-years , a preschool music teacher, and now having her own child, Kelley did just that and set out to create Bexley's best in-home child care center, Family Traditions Child Care, Ltd .

With more than 30 years combined of child care experience amongst our staff, we successfully create a rich learning environment for all children. Our core program focuses on the whole child to lay the fundamental building blocks of learning, socializing, and just getting to be a kid! Curriculum is developed for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. A day in our program is structured with creativity, nurturing, learning, and fun. Both children and parents will have great memories and experiences to take with them and last for a lifetime.

Infants
Individual attention from our caring and nurturing staff allows infants to feel safe and secure while taking their first steps and speaking their first words. Our program offers stimulating activities and group interactions that encourage play and exploration. Nurturing, personal care builds trust and self-esteem in a supportive environment. Our staff is attentive to your infant's needs, such as sleeping and eating schedules. If you prefer your child to be on breast milk, we offer a private breastfeeding area available for breastfeeding moms to feed and or pump. Refrigeration is available, too.
Toddlers
Toddlers learn through sensory experiences that emphasize the environment and their relationships with each other. Our staff balances group interaction with individual attention to help toddlers build socialization, cognitive, language, and motor skills, along with self-esteem and self-help skills. Our staff is attentive to your toddler's needs, such as sleeping and eating schedules. If you prefer your child to be on breast milk, we offer a private breastfeeding area available for breastfeeding moms to feed and or pump. Refrigeration is available, too.
Preschoolers
Our experienced staff reinforces developmental objectives through fun and engaging, age-appropriate activities. We don't, at this time, provide a purchased educational - preschool program, however your child will be exposed to preschool activities and learn with games, songs, movement, and art ; allowing him or her to build skills and confidence, while providing time for child-directed play. Your child can explore and discover at his or her own pace, as well as practice social skills such as cooperation, sharing, and taking-turns.

We offer a structured curriculum, like large center facilities, but your child gets to feel comfortable in a home, much like their own. We have daily indoor and outdoor activities, field trips, and learn about a new topic everyday.
