I have to say of twenty years I have been receiving chiropractic services I have never encountered such an unprofessional experience until I visited Family Chiropractic Center in Flemington. First and foremost let me start by saying that their fees are through the roof and much higher then other chiropractic offices. The standard initial visit/exam across the board if you do your research is between $125.00 and $150.00. Family Chiropractic charged me $300.00 for my first visit this is Unacceptable. As a part of my treatments I required the standard adjustment and ultrasound for a pinched nerve upper back. Each visit for adjustment and ultrasound was $95.00 which I thought was extremely high. When I mentioned my concern to Dr. Helen about the cost I was told that they do not turn any patients away and will work with me. Much to my surprise when I visited the center today and asked for only Ultrasound treatment to help me to reduce my cost a bit. Dr. John through his hands in the air and told me to find another Dr. in network. I was shocked and taken back by the unprofessionalism and it was clear to me that it is solely about the money and Dr. John does not put his patients first nor does he have their best interest in mind. I was able to find a great practice that offers both ultrasound, and stim in additional to my adjustment for $65.00 per visit with initial exam costing $135.00 It is important to me that whomever Is see cares for their patients and is not trying to rake them over the coals financially.
