Worse customer service ever ! I called Sonesta call center. Being a member with them I thought I could trust them securing a room for myself and my kids during hurricane. I called the call center twice one time with Mrs Monica who she assured me that there is a room available in this location with two queen bed. For one night Jul 10. I didn’t have power so they told me they put a note for early Check in.Report
I went by noon with my kids , the old lady with Curley hair said that she can’t any booking by Sonesta in her system. I showed her my booking confirmation. She said come back at 3:00 pm because there is no room available, I went back on 3 pm another young lady apologized saying there is no room ! Since there was walking customer and they took all rooms. And again she couldn’t see any booking in her system !!!! I ended up having no room although I paid full amount. Now I requested my money back they said this amount is not refundable. !!!! Saying that I was looking for Sonesta in the map and couldn’t find it , then I came to know Sonesta took over Fairfield hotel. Maybe this explain the whole non sense !!! Thanks Sonesta for zero support for your members through difficult times ! DO NOT book through call center ,they are in different world than the reality hahaha . Please like my review for support.
Not Marriott removed they name off the building ????????????Report
Over booked one room with no A/C to many customers, and tried to charge us for the error.Report
This hotel experience was one of the worst when we first arrived they gave us a room wit 2 beds but when we got to the rooms we come to find out the rooms were not even prepared and was dirty so we had to get another room wit one bed and a couch and the couch was very uncomfortable felt like I was sleeping on the ground. The restroom was decent but the shower wasn’t even hot they have a lot of things to work on.Report
Yeahhh, just NO! The entire hotel is hot as heck (for one). Booked a double; there was a family of roaches just chilling on the bathtub, and the shower wouldn’t work! The A/C unit was also not functioning properly. I can say that the Front Desk switched my room, but she said “Executive King Suite”. Y’all.. I can’t make this up. Why we went from “bad” to “worst”? This “King Suite” was more like a room with a “QS” bed. The pullout mattress in the couch?? HORRIBLE. I felt like I was sleeping on pins and needles! The bathroom is DISGUSTING; tub dirty, bugs, shower head filthy, wall peeling off, just NO. Not to mention; we ended up by some HOODRATS who fought, yelled, slammed doors and stomped all night! Chile, just go to Motel 6 lol. I’m so upset, I don’t even have the energy to take pictures, but the ones uploaded are very ACCURATE!Report
Nasty run down hotel and this is marriott? I couldn't believe this. Would never book here ever again.Report
I guess I’ll start from the beginning. We arrived at the Hotel, and they had NO A/C in the hotel, except in the rooms. Mind you, we were in Houston, TX and it’s JUNE! Middle of the summer, you can imagine the temperature outside, but their A/C is Broke!Report
The place looks ok on the outside, it seems they gave it a paint job, but it’s feels like they just applied some make up. We found Mold in the bathroom by the shower. I went to bed late, but Room service thought it was a good time to knock at 8 am and open the door and come in, woke me up. Great!
Since I was up, decided to change and go downstairs to have breakfast, the eggs and protein was gone, I asked if they were going to add more since it was 8:30 am, but they said that normally they don’t after that time, even though the breakfast ends at 9 am. Great!
I tried calling the front desk from the room, but the phone didn’t work. Tried calling the hotel with my cell phone, but no one picked up.
What a Disappointing Experience!
I don’t know who’s running that hotel, but they are definitely destroying the Marriott Brand!
The hotel hallways and lobby were hot. Nasty attitudesReport
