A Brooklyn, New York native, Dr. Connolly has practiced in the Bel Air area for the last 11 years.

Her favorite part of being an optometrist is meeting local families and watching their children grow up. “I care just as much about my patients as I do their eyes,” she says.

Dr. Connolly appreciates the power of good eye health and eyewear. At age 14, she began to wear contact lenses - and it changed her life. “I had previously hid behind my glasses,” she says. “I overcame my shyness with contacts.” That experience also sparked her interest in an optometry career.

She received her bachelor's degree in psychology from the State University of New York at Binghamton and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York College of Optometry. After working with Davis Vision in Massapequa, N.Y. for seven years, she moved to the Baltimore area and has worked with both small and large vision centers.
