My mother lives in Edison and she was very dissatisfied with the services and pricing policy of her HVAC company, so I went online and found Exclusive Heating and Air Conditioning. Based on extensive reviews online, I hoped that they would provide good and efficient service. And the reviews were correct. Anthony was courteous, efficient and helpful. He treated my mother honestly and fairly. He worked late into the evening to ensure that her new air conditioner was installed in time for an upcoming heat wave. And the price he charged her was very fair and far less than the prices charged by her prior company. My mother asked that I send this recommendation to others looking for honest, efficient, cost-effective and reliable service.

One of the hottest days this summer and of course the air conditioning decided to give. Tried a few things on my own but eventually gave in to find an expert. After searching for some local options, I found the reviews for Exclusive to be glowing. I called almost immediately (10:45PM at night) and Jill actually answered the call, carved out an appointment for the next day, and based on other reviews, I requested Anthony who she was able to schedule for my time. After scheduling, she even called back immediately to let me know the tech recommended to keep the AC off to prevent potential further damage. Awesome!

Next day, Anthony shows up as scheduled and gets straight to work while informing me of every step in identifying what the parts are, what looks normal and what doesn't, and then proceeding to test out what was shot and what was still working. It turned out that my AC blew a fuse and there was visible damage to wires and the contactor which were burnt to a crisp. Anthony was clearly knowledgeable and was eager to help me understand what's happening. Upon nearing completion of the work, Anthony also recommended certain things I can do to maintain the health of my AC unit, such as cleaning out the coils. And just when he finished explaining, he proceeded to demonstrate and do the cleaning himself so I can see how to do it next time. He had the system up and running in no time and what I anticipated to be a huge cost turned out to be a very reasonable and small expenditure to get my AC up and running to blow ice-cold air once again. Highly recommend using them, I have them on speed dial in case of any future needs. Thanks, Jill and Anthony!

We engaged EXCLUSIVE Heating and Air Conditioning to service two HVAC units at our residence. Jill, who answers and schedules the calls, visits etc. was extremely helpful and professional. Anthony, the technician who serviced the units was extremely knowledgeable. The visit was scheduled almost right away. Anthony explained what needed to do for the two AC units in a very methodical way and went about to complete the job. The company is very honest and technically sound. I endorse them without any reservation. I am a very happy customer and will be happy to provide any other info. Glad to find such an honest business people in today's world.

Exclusive is an incredible, honest company. My heat wasn't working so I called them based off the great reviews, and I was not disappointed. They were able to come out the same day I called; it turned out my fan had stopped blowing. They had a new fan up and running before noon the next day.

Seriously, don't worry - this is the company to call. They were upfront about the cost, and the cost ended up being exactly what they said it would be (no surprises). You can just tell when a company is honest, and this company definitely is.

As an aside, the technician I worked with, Anthony, was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and went out of his way to explain how my heating & cooling worked. We ended up just talking and joking around while he fixed my system. Could not recommend his services more highly, in particular.

After move to house on summer day HVAC was not woking kids are really uncomfortable on the first night so next day call several one and get connected to them , The Guy came after 3-4 hour from schedule time that I can understand may be he stuck on work,but when he came to my house he take a look on Air handler and took30 minutes to open air filter( that I open in a minutes when I replace few days back) then issue is Freon is not presesnt so he need to fill freon gas (Market rate to fill Freon is 50/lb and 250 for 5lb ususally) but I was in panic so he ask for 650 and after negociation its reach to 550, there were issue in the valve as per him and he took 6hr to open valve and fill Freon gas and asking me more money and end up paying 600 .
I changed Rating to 5Star as work was excellent no doubt.

Mr. Hyder, We take reviews very seriously and since you gave a 3-star rating to one of our highly skilled technicians, I feel that I need to clarify some details in your stated review. You called the office on Saturday June 30th, 2018, a day where temperatures reached 96 degrees with an expectation of service the same day. Our office followed through with your request by squeezing you into a very busy schedule because she felt sympathetic to the fact that you had children. We kept you informed with updates until Anthony arrived on the job. He listened to your concerns and diagnosed your issue which resulted in a PSI of zero. My technician advised that there was a leak which resulted in no Freon in your system. An option was given to you to perform a leak test to try and locate the source of the leak and to fill the unit with Freon. The estimate for the proposed work was $650.00, which you haggled on because you just moved there. The technician agreed to take one hundred dollars off the price to make you happy. The unit was pumped with nitrogen to try and determine the source of the leak, the technician then went into your attic in over heated temperatures and took your entire air handler apart to try and find if the source was in your coil. Additionally he crawled over to your line sets to make sure there were not any nails in them. My technician also asked about your air filter and was told by you that a duct cleaning company was out to clean all of your ducts and changed the filter. The technician found that your filter was dirty and never changed and made the recommendation to change it. He also took the time to show you the location of the filter and how to remove and replace it, as you stated that you didn't know where the filter was located and how to access it. Your review states that it took him 30 minutes to check the filter and that it takes you a few minutes. The length of time you claimed it took for him to access your filter, was also a result of the technician spending time in your attic with a low ceiling clearance trying to find the source of the leak. He also put the coil and air handler back together and went to back to the outdoor unit to determine if the leak was outside. Per the protocol he left your system charged with nitrogen for several hours and took no short cuts. Your system held pressure and you were advised by the technician that he could not detect the source of the leak. You stated that you would like to proceed with adding Freon. The nitrogen was removed out of the system, and the technician attempted to remove the Schrader cores out of the King valve to vacuum the system down and found that It was broken off and stripped. Instead of trying to sell a new valve he repaired it so your family would not be left without air until Monday. It took hours to get the core out and a new core in its place while trying to have it seal correctly. 3 cores were used out of inventory to make this happen. New caps with gaskets were installed because your unit had no caps and no gaskets. Upon completion of the job you asked the technician if he could check your hot water boiler. He willingly agreed at no charge. The technician did not add any additional charges, and only asked for the original quoted price of $650.00. You tried to pay $550.00 even though he spent hours on a valve issue for no extra charge. Once again, you haggled with the price, stating that you needed money for your contractor, and only paid the technician $600.00 for a job them kept him there past 10pm. Your job included a diagnostic on your air conditioning unit, a leak test, vacuuming your system, a valve repair, 3 core parts, Freon, caps, gaskets and a diagnostic on your boiler. I hope that it is understood that the pricing reflected on this job was not solely for Freon as you describe. Please understand reviews like this can damage a company's reputation, as we strive to have high standards for service within our industry.
