Joe Montalto is a highly skilled acupuncturist who has a comprehensive understanding of the human body and how to help the body heal itself. I've gone to him various times over the years for physical therapy, as well as, acupuncture. Most recently I had extreme tendonitis pain. After one acupuncture session with Joe my pain was much, much less. I went twice more for acupuncture and considered myself cured. It was amazing! He spends lots of time and cares deeply. I've referred quite a few people to Joe including my elderly mother!!

A sceptic at first, I began trying acupuncture back in July of 2020 after my ankle surgery(May) when, after 3+ months of immobility, my while body was disjointed and in terrible discomfort. Montalto's ability to isolate and address issues throughout the body with his needles is incredible. He was able to release knots in my back that had not released with regular massage, he was able to help with my sleep disruptions, and provide some mild relief from Carpel Tunnel. I did not believe it possible, but his knowledge of the body's muscles, tendons, and fascia, and their connections is outstanding. I never thought I could say that anything involving needles would be both healing and relaxing. I continue to go weekly. I highly recommend it.

Over the last four months, I had two occasions to seek Acupuncture Relief from Joe and was so happy with the results! One was for Migraine relief and the other was issues as a result of a Kidney Stone. I cannot praise him enough for his knowledge of understanding the Systems of the body to his calming, professional demeanor. His style is different from other Acupuncturists I've seen in that he is truly willing to listen and find what is the best approach for your issues in that moment. As well, coordinating appointments is very easy and he does his best to accommodate as soon as possible especially when in pain. All of the staff members are kind and considerate and the space he is located is clean, cheerful with easy in, easy out parking and all staff members are very conscious of safety protocols to keep everyone safe and healthy.
