Wow, I got headshots with Erica and cannot recommend enough. She is an expert with lighting. In a short time she captured so many wonderful images I had a hard time choosing which to select. Very well done!

My sister and I hired Erica to take our professional headshots. She made us feel very comfortable. Her studio space is very cool and she created a calm, fun experience for us (even though I was stressed out to get my photo taken)! Erica is incredibly detail oriented, and was tuned into the changing lighting conditions, constantly adjusting certain things to create the best light for the best shot. I've worked with a handful of photographers over the years and Erica is a true professional in her field! The quality of the finished photos are beautiful. I'm also really impressed with how her editing looks! I would work with Erica again in a heartbeat!

Erica was professional, knowledgeable, warm and personable. It was clear she's had a lot of experience with lighting, backgrounds, and helping me poses while also including my own ideas. She was timely in getting back to me the proofs and included her own suggestions of which her shots were her own favorite. I was very satisfied.

Erica J Mitchell is an amazing photographer! When she photographed our wedding, she made us comfortable in front of the camera- which is a very big deal since we were nervous! She had great ideas about poses and scenery. The finished photos were unbelievably good. We were so excited to see them. She has a great eye for color, composition, and for capturing spontaneous moments. She also made two videos for us- one of our ceremony and one that was a collection of footage from throughout the day. I was blown away with her creativity and skill! I can't say enough good things about her as a photographer and as a person. She is a caring, thoughtful person who considers not just the imagery she is capturing, but the relationships and connections between the people in the photos. I wholeheartedly recommend Erica for any event that you want to capture!

As a subject, who ordinarily rejects all cameras, Erica's assuring conversation eased me into an interaction of surprising self-discovery with the camera. She facilitates a simultaneous creative journey for both the photographer and the subject. In retrospect, the synergistic field she creates is what I believe makes her photography so fresh, so alive and tinged with a mystery that pulls you in and keeps you there looking. I found Erica to be an artist whose camera paints a portrait that captures a cohesive and compelling story about her subject.

As someone who hates to be photographed, I couldn't have been more delighted with the product and the process.

Erica was very personable and made me feel comfortable. She provided great direction through the photo shoot while still allowing my personality to come through. She was also prompt in her responses to my requests as well as delivering a quality product.

Erica did some shots of our family with our foster dog, Padre. Padre had major anxiety issues from the shelter but Erica put him at ease and was able to capture his sometimes goofy personality perfectly with some beautiful shots out in a field (despite some strong sunshine). Everyone we show them to compliments them. Thanks to Erica we get a beautiful reminder of our time with him.
