About Elisa B. Nelson, DDS, P.C.

Dr. Elisa Nelson graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 1992. Following dental school she completed a general practice residency at Flushing Hospital Medical Center, in Flushing, New York. After completing her residency she practiced dentistry in Woodhaven, NY along with her father, Henry Nelson D.D.S., also an NYU College of Dentistry graduate. In 1994 Dr. Nelson was invited to return to New York University College of Dentistry as an Associate Clinical Professor for the Department of Oral Medicine and Pathology, where she was the clinic chief of the admissions and emergency clinic. In 1996 she began private practice in Huntington Village, and now she is currently practicing in Commack, New York.

Dr. Nelson is a current member of the American Dental Association. She is continually taking classes in order to broaden her knowledge, while keeping up with all of the current trends in dentistry. She is Invisalign certified and has been named Top Dentist in New York by NY Top Docs.

Dr. Elisa Nelson was born in Brooklyn and grew up in Dix Hills. She currently resides on Long Island in Old Bethpage with her husband, son and daughter. In her spare time Dr. Nelson enjoys spending time with her family and friends, she enjoys cooking, drawing and loves photography.
