They came to me to do the evaluation of my comics - it was an easy, hassle free process, and they took it all away the same day. I feel I received a fair, honest, realistic deal.

Don't blame your clients and accept responsibility for dropping the ball here (or with the repeated failures experienced, maybe dribbling is a more appropriate comparison). In the interest of full transparency and closure to this backwards pageantry, I was contacted four or five days after my scheduled appointment, and spoke to someone about the meeting. After one of their employees was blamed for the first no-call, no-show, a second appointment was scheduled for 0800 in the morning a couple of weeks later (in case they decided not to show up again, I didn't want to waste more of my day than necessary). On that day, at around 0815 (15min after the meeting THEY scheduled), I received a text from the representative confirming our meeting. I was informed that he was told 1100-1200. Begrudgingly, I rescheduled it for later that morning (third time if you're counting). The representative who came out was professional and courteous, and put eyes on every book in the collection. The process of getting to that point is utterly ridiculous.

***Initial Review: A representative from Dylan Universe Comics was scheduled to come out to look at my collection. They were a no-call, no-show for our scheduled appointment. Cynthia called to set up the appointment, and we agreed on a Friday. I received a confirmation email. A short while later I was contacted again, and the appointment was changed at her behest from Friday to the preceding Monday. Again, I received an email confirming our appointment. I did this reluctantly, as I was working the overnight the night before, and this is typically the time I would use to sleep before my family gets home. I gave that up, and ensured ample time to get home in case I got out late from my shift. The same respect for other's time clearly was not reciprocated by this company. If the time wasn’t going to work out, something came up, or you are not interested, that is fine, but the expected, professional response would have been to let me know, rather than to waste my time and leave me hanging.

I tried to get in touch with the number that was provided as a contact for Cynthia via phone and text. My phone calls and texts have gone unanswered. I tried emailing and calling the owner directly with the info on Google and Facebook, and there have been no answers. Not really sure what else to say, but this is definitely not the level of professionalism I would expect from any business.

I reached out to Dylan Universe about selling my comic collection, and Paul quickly emailed me back to set up a call. It was good speaking with him – he is very knowledgeable and personable. I ended up getting really busy, which delayed me from moving forward, but Paul was really patient about it and would check in periodically. Ultimately, I shipped my comics to him and ended up with what I felt like was a fair price. I would definitely recommend that you reach out to them if you’re looking to sell your comic collection.

I scheduled an appointment for Tuesday July 18th at 10 am with the young man who called me after filling out an internet form requesting their services. I got a babysitter to watch my daughter so I could devote my full attention to them when they came because I have a decent amount of comics. The representative pulled a no show for our appointment and didn't even call with a reason why. They don't return emails and don't answer the phone. I left them a voice mail yesterday trying to find out what was going on with them. It seems like they are not serious about their comic buying business nor do they respect people who have scheduled appointments with them. Sad to say that I was really hoping to sell them my collection because they seemed very genuine and passionate about comic books in general, but I guess I was wrong about them.

Update response to the owner: There was no voicemail, there was no phone call. There was a text message 3 months later asking if I was interested and that their "buyer" forgot about the appointment. 3 MONTHS AGO! They were told to never contact me again after that text message. Their response is a direct reflection of trying to blame someone other than themselves. Own up to your mistakes don't blame others for them.

I was looking for a place to have my large collection of comics appraised. I tried to sell them on marketplace in different groups and felt like I was being taken advantage of. Made one call to Dylan and he asked me what I wanted to do. Finally! I had found a helping hand, and he explained the process and ease of taking my collection and giving me an honest opinion and a way to help out when other Comic cites had steered me wrong. Good guy honest and fair. I was happy to have all that taken care of after many attempts of handling it myself. Thanks again Dylan for helping me.

I worked with Paul at Dylan comics to sell my collection, was a little nervous living so far away from them but they were great. Paid for shipping gave me a fair price, with no pressure to sell to them if I was not comfortable with the price. Would definitely do business with them again, they stayed in touch and sent me a check promptly.

I have recently dealt with Dylan comics. After the death of my fiancee they purchased his whole collection of comics. They gave a very fare offer. I would definitely work with them again if the need arises
