About DisasterCare
Carpet Care Services was founded in 1987. In 1994, after leaving the Charleston Navy shipyard, Al Bradham purchased Carpet Care Services(CCS). He was a one-man, one-van operation. As he became involved and known in the industry, both his knowledge and his love for it grew. As a natural evolution of the carpet cleaning business, Al quickly realized a need for water restoration. In 2004 CCS was ranked second in the nation for "Most revenue from a single water damage restoration account" and ranked seventh in the nation for "Most revenue from a single mold remediation account." This trend continued for three consecutive years. In 2006 Al Bradham received the Ralph Bloss Humanitarian Award. A distinct honor in the water restoration industry. In 2008 CCS gave this new division a name - DisasterCare. In 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 CCS was named the #1 Reader's Choice for carpet cleaning services. In 2010 CCS was awarded Business of the Year by the Summerville Chamber of Commerce.
