1. Be careful if you prepay while on a waitlist. This dealership is shady and doesn’t take responsibility for their mistakes.I was put on the waitlist for the wrong car, and when I bought the right one, they didn’t apply my prepaid amount. I’ve been calling and emailing for days with no real help. Now they say I have to come in person, but I can’t even make an appointment because they prioritize new buyers over existing customers. Once they make the sale, they stop caring.
2. During my financing appointment, I questioned a discrepancy between my calculations and theirs. Instead of addressing it professionally, the finance manager became defensive and said, “So we can’t make mistakes?” This was very concerning. It gave me the impression that financial accuracy wasn’t a priority—which is unacceptable when dealing with major purchases.
Even at this point, the refund I requested is still not getting taken care of, disregard I sent the sales person a very detailed email with screenshot of the approval documents. So I guess their system is not working because they cannot forward/reply emails.
I had a very pleasant experience working with the staff at Diablo Subaru. Ricky was able to assist me along the way when making my purchase, he was very patient and answered all my questions as a first time buyer. The rest of the other staff members were very friendly as well. I left the dealership happy with my new vehicle. Thank you so much!Report
