All pet & family sessions take place in a pet-friendly location of your choice! Alison highly recommends at-home sessions, and/or urban-suburban settings for dramatic outdoor images.
DeSilva Studios offers an exclusive line of classic and modern wall and desk art as well as unique photo cards. Digital packages are also available.
School photography is arranged with school administrators. All images (digital & print) are available to parents and caretakers for purchase on a private on-line gallery. All images are available to the school administration for use in the yearbook.

DeSilva Studios is a Northern Virginia-based pet & school photography studio run by owner and founder, Alison. DeSilva Studios had an unconventional beginning — at local humane societies and animal welfare shelters! Giving in to her love for animals big and small, Alison began photographing dogs and cats to help the welfare leagues post realistic images that would lead to adoptions. In the process, Alison fell in love with a puppy and photography.
Alison expanded her family to adopt the puppy, Coco, a rotti-mix. And, she grew her photography hobby into a business! Her images went on to gain nation-wide attention, winning photo awards and contests.
Her business grew again after having a child. Alison now creates fun and natural student portraits for schools in the DC Metro area.
