I purchased a used car on June 2nd, 2023 I have not had this car for even a year yet. I have had this car towed home 4 times. Costing me a total of over 500$. Two months after receiving this car, I had to buy a new catalytic converter(2k, not including labor). This month my check engine light came on. Code only says high idle. I replace my throttle body(500$). Same issue. Check engine light came on again. High idle. The windshield fluid tank leaked the DAY I brought it home. I was under the impression that if I test drove the vehicle they would do a hard pull on my credit. So I opted out. They made it seem like I was being taken care of. The associates working made it seem like this was an amazing investment for a daily vehicle. Driving the vehicle off the lot I immediately knew I would have transmission issues. The way that this car drives made me cry in my driveway the first night I brought it home. I have spend more fixing this car than I have putting payments into it. I have spent more money fixing a vehicle I bought less than a year ago than I have spend paying it off. This is my first car from a dealership. This is my first car that I got on my own. I'm so disappointed in my purchase. This car has brought me nothing but issues and I'm so upset that I spent my money with toyota of oxnard. I will not be recommending this SPECIFIC dealership to any one. I'm so so so sad and heartbroken that my personal experience with toyota of oxnard was this horrible.
