I am the founder and owner of Dawn Wiggins Therapy and Help Towards Hope. I knew I wanted to be a psychotherapist at the age of 12. I can distinctly recall making this decision, at a time when my parents first separated. This watershed moment ultimately led me to earn my master's and specialist degree from the University of Florida, specializing in marriage and family therapy - a systems approach. I was attracted to this approach because it taught the philosophy that when one part of a system changes, the entire system is changed.
