For more than 20 years I built custom furniture before doing repair work. With my knowledge of furniture construction, wood, hand tool usage, various adhesives and finishes I have an understanding as to why furniture breaks and how to properly repair it. In the case of antiques, repairs are made using period appropriate methods, adhesives and finishes. If parts are missing, replacements can be made or found. This level of knowledge, experience and craftsmanship is reflected in my work
